Dr. Karen Dacey is a board certified ophthalmologist who began practicing in the Lehigh Valley in 2011. Prior to that, she was a comprehensive ophthalmologist at Andrews Air Force and deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in 2008. She travelled with the US Air Force on a humanitarian mission to Panama in 2009. She completed ophthalmology residency at the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium (a combined program between Lackland Air Force Base and Ft. Sam Houston). She completed medical school at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. In total, she served 11 years in the United States Air Force. She resides in South Whitehall Township with her husband and two children.
